Proactivetur is a small company, in Loulé, working in all Algarve and lower Alentejo. Its main activity is on Ecotourism and Creative Tourism, but also with Local Development. The main working areas are:
- Ecotourism – walking trips in Algarve, mostly on Via Algarviana and Rota Vicentina path (Proactivetur is official member and supporter of these two projects); and Birdwatching tours, having experts guides for these activities; and
- Creative Tourism – experiences on traditional arts of Algarve, including pottery, bastery, gastronomy, among many others. Workshops, short courses and residencies are part of the offer proactivetur have related with this segment;
Coordinates and promotes several special projects directly related with local development and the promotion of local arts, craft and enterpreneurship. The main ones are the Project TASA, the Project Querença and also the Ameixial Walking Festival.
