This bike paths is between the alluvial plain and the wooded slopes. A succession of industrial salterns, salt marshes and Carrasqueira water branch, on one hand, and agricultural crops, on the other. The birds are a constant presence in both ecological units. Flamingos, coots and waders occur in wetlands. The white storks can also be seen here, but prefers nesting in trees on the dry zone, a natural biotope for different small birds and birds of prey. The path is wholly within the Nature Reserve of Castro Marim and Vila Real de Santo António Salt Marsh. The route begins and ends at N126-6 towards Cerro do Bufo Salterns.
