Casa Amarela (Yellow House) accommodates up to 6 people. It has 2 bedrooms (1 Couple and 1 double room with 2 single beds and a sofa bed). Bathroom with tub. In the living room it has a sofa bed, armchair, TV, stove, dining table and kitchenette with fridge, hob, oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, iron and blender. Patio faces south with shade and has table and chairs, barbecue and hammock.

In Castro Marim municipality, 3 km away from the sea and partially inserted into Sapal Castro de Marim and Vila Real de Santo António Nature Reserve, Quinta da Fornalha is a pilot project of sustainability, managed as a small family business that develops a series of activities related to the surroundings in order to create a sustainable economy based on the use of available resources as well as the respect and maintenance of ecosystems and existing cultural traditions. Over the past few years, it has rehabilitated several old houses which are now used to house guests. Recovered with comfort and tradition, the houses are scattered through the fields and orchards. They are single-storey, with stone walls and clay, red clay tile floor on the cob, private patio shaded by canes and cats for company. You can stroll with a basket and collect vegetables in the garden, and aromatic plants and fresh eggs in the henhouse. Throw leftovers in the compost pile and feel part of this natural cycle. It also has an old water tank adapted as a pool where you can cool off when it is hot.

In the central building is the reception, with a library on the fauna and flora, gastronomy, routes, heritage and local knowledge, as well as a collection of DVDs that you can borrow during your stay. You can also have access to the products of the orchards and gardens of the farm where you can scoop daily, fruit, vegetables and herbs. It also has Wi-Fi, laundry equipment and, once a week, you can enjoy a guided tour to the farm.
