This route runs along the coast between Fábrica place and Vila Real de Santo António, visiting beaches, forest and marshland areas in the Guadiana estuary, fortified villages and historical heritage. The route is partially within Ria Formosa Nature Park (just to Manta Rota beach).

Walk the beach section between Fábrica and Cacela Velha. Go by boat to the western end of the strip of sand in front of Fábrica (fishermen transport the visitors by boat).

- Via do Infante: A22 (exit to Monte Gordo, Altura) and N125 direction Tavira; or

- N125 direction Cacela;

- Ayamonte (Espanha) - A22 (exit to Monte Gordo, Altura), N125 direction Tavira.
