On Saturdays, come and spend a different day, in contact with nature, being part of the field team of the Transumância e Natureza (Transhumance and Nature) Association - ATNand help maintain Faia Brava Private Protected Area.

Thus, for all volunteers who wish to make their contribution to the Faia Brava project, Saturdays are the ideal opportunity. Mr. Abel, an ATN field worker, works on Saturday as if it were a business day to receive volunteers. The program starts at 7 am, with a meeting point at the ATN headquarters, lasts about 6 h and the transportation to Faia Brava Reserve is guaranteed by ATN.

During one day you will be able to help in all the tasks, from pruning and clearing, clearing trails, maintaining the forest nursery, planting trees, collecting seeds, guarding the herds of “garranos” horses and “maronesas” cows and being a vigilant fire.
