In the heart of nature, in Penamacor county (Beira Baixa), 22 km from Monsanto, the most Portuguese village, is Moinho do Maneio, an old and secular water mill.

Recovered with environmental concerns and aimed at rural tourism, has four small traditional houses, all with schist walls and exposed wooden beams, providing a unique style of decoration. Two houses are larger, providing supporting kitchenette for simple meals, with a choice of single beds or Queen sized. The other two, smaller, have double room, all of which are available for those wanting to enjoy peace and tranquility, always in full contact with nature.

Casa do Alecrim (House of Rosemary), for up to 2 people (maximum 4), has a double bed (Queen- sized), a kitchenette and fireplace. Casa da Pipa also has capacity for 2 people (maximum 4), has two single beds, a kitchenette, fireplace and a peculiar bath built in an old cask of wine.

The Quarto das Andorinhas (Room of the Swallows), with capacity for 2 persons (max 3), has a double bed and an inviting wood burning stove, a space topped with a porch and hammock that maximize your rest on sunny days.

The Quarto do Amieiro (Alder Room) has capacity for 2 people, double bed and a privileged view of the river surrounding the property. Outside also has a barbecue which, of course, is essential for moments of conviviality with family or friends.

Every day is served breakfast with regional products, inside or outside of the living room, maximum delight for those who want to learn more about this region.
