ANCCRAL - Associação de Criadores de Caprinos de Raça Algarvia (Algarve Race Goat Breeders Association) provides technical support to breeders of Algarve Race Goat and also manages the Genealogical Book of this Race. The cheese factory is the result of a partnership between ANCCRAL and the municipality of Castro Marim, as a way to improve the value of Algarve race goat's milk and to promote products of the Lower Guadiana.
