Faia d'Água Alta waterfall, an integral part of the Trail with the same name, lies just before the Lamoso stream disembogues into the Bemposta River, a tributary of the Douro. The waterfall of the rocky cliffs, about 60 m high, reinforced by the winter and spring rains, surprises by the beauty and is one of the most important natural monuments of the Douro International Nature Park.
