Montesinho, a typical village ofTrás-os-Montes region, is in the mountain range of Montesinho, in the Nature Park and at about 1100 m high. In this rural settlement you can see the typical Trás-os-Montes house with granite walls with balconies and wooden porches and slate roofs.

 

It is worth wandering around the village and enjoying the traditional houses. Visit the local craftsman who works in shale and granite.
