Share Image
The d’Às Vinhas Bridge is a work of art of medieval technique, probably of the 16th century. It was built on the Tuela river, part of the old route to Mofreita. It has a horizontal board with a maximum width of about 3 m, supported by a single stone lancet arch. Its pavement is very different from the original, no longer retaining any slab, consisting of compacted grit. The guards are made of low parapets of shale masonry.
