• Small fortification from the seventeenth century rectangular in shape, overlooking the sea, which still has an imposing wall and a cistern integrated in the building platform. It is in ruins, but makes up for the visit by the surrounding nature.

    The chapel of Mr. Jesus dos Navegantes, destroyed by fire in 1803 and where seamen from Sesimbra prayed before they left for long trips, is about 400 m East of the fort.
