• On its autumn migration to Africa (end of August – November) thousands of birds passes here, like Egyptian Vulture (Neophron percnopterus), Cinereous Vulture (Aegypius monachus), Northern Goshawk (Accipiter gentilis), Lesser Spotted Eagle (Aquila pomarina), Booted Eagle (Aquila pennata), Short-toed Snake-eagle (Circaetus gallicus), Spanish Imperial Eagle (Aquila adalberti), Osprey (Pandion haliaetus), Golden Eagle (Aquila chrysaetos), Yellow Wagtail (Motacilla flava), Eurasian Buzzard (Buteo buteo), European Honey-buzzard (Pernis apivorus), Greater Short-toed Lark (Calandrella brachydactyla), Whinchat (Saxicola rubetra), Northern Wheatear (Oenanthe oenanthe), Common Raven (Corvus corax), European Pied Flycatcher (Ficedula hypoleuca), White-stork (Ciconia ciconia), Black-stork (Ciconia nigra), Merlin (Falco columbarius), Eleonora's Falcon (Falco eleonorae), Eurasian Sparrowhawk (Accipiter nisus), Griffon Vulture (Gyps fulvus), Red Kite (Milvus milvus) Black Kite (Milvus migrans), Eurasian Hobby (Falco subbuteo), Tawny Pipit (Anthus campestris), Little Bustard (Tetrax tetrax), Hen Harrier (Circus cyaneus), Montagu's Harrier (Circus pygargus), Western Marsh-harrier (Circus aeruginosus), Subalpine Warbler (Sylvia cantillans) Spectacled Warbler (Sylvia conspicillata).

    Birds like Azure-winged Magpie (Cyanopica cyanus), Thekla Lark (Galerida theklae), Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus) and Red-billed Chough (Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax) can be ssen here all year round.

    In ancient Neolithic Site of Cabranosa were found artifacts on pebbles and "Mirense type" splinters which are now in Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography of Setúbal district and the Museum of Geological and Mining Institute (Lisbon).

     - Sagres - tollow the road to the St. Vincent cape (Ecovia do Litoral). At about 2.6 km you will find the access to Belixe beach. Soon after ther’s a dirt road on the right. Follow by it along a patch of pine forest, which turns to the northeast. The geodesic mark is about 2 km from the paved road. Note: tin he 1st crossroad you can take the right or left path. In the 2nd one take the right path. Park next to the pine forest before the geodesic mark. In the fall, there are always people there looking at migratory birds. If you can walk, it is better to park the car next to Belixe beach access or in the park restaurant just across, so you can see more birds.
