• From Baleeira (Whaling) harbor, whose name shows whales were hunt , in these waters, you can see some marine birds, including Yellow-legged Gull (Larus michahellis), Lesser Black-backed Gull (Larus fuscus), Ruddy Turnstone (Arenaria interpres), Common Sandpiper (Actitis hypoleucos) and Great Cormorant (Phalacrocorax carbo), which tends to rest with open wings on the rocks in front (Martinhal islets) to dry the feathers. If the sea is calm, go to the pier near the harbor entrance to watch more birds.

    In the harbor there are companies that make boat tours to watch marine mammals and / or seabirds.
