Galé Rock is close to the small village of Corte Pequena, this one is about 15.5 km from Mértola, on the left bank of the Guadiana. From Mértola cross the bridge towards Serpa and, after 4.5 km, turn left onto Corte de Sines. Follow this road until you find a sign for Corte Pequen, on your left. From here the road is unpaved but in good condition. Galleys' Rock is near Canais watermill.
There are no signs for Galé Rock, but it is part of two hiking trails (the Guadiana channels and Guadiana margins trails) so, just follow the signs for one of these routes.
