• Built in 1922, designed by Master José da Fonseca and denoting a revivalist modernism, replaced the old ‘Chafariz da Câmara’, valuing the Sintra entrance and dignifying the most appreciated water in the Village. With the enlargement of the road, the fountain was dismantled and rebuilt some meters away, in the ‘Volta do Duche’. In neoárabe style, has a large horseshoe arch including 3 other arches framed by neomudéjares tiles, having at the center, the arms of the municipality. Inside, in addition to the spout, has benches, where you can rest.
