Belinho beach and dunes

The Belinho beach is about 3 km long and is bordered by a large dune system where we can identify interdune wetlands. The beach is composed by pebbles of different sizes, mostly quartzite. The dune system can be visited through a boardwalk and has a length of several kilometers and an average width of 300 meters.

The high amount of pebbles on the beach and its dimension make it an attractive site with educational and touristic interest being therefore visited by many schools and curious tourists. It is part of the trail called "Between the Neiva and the Atlantic" of the North Coast Natural Park.
