This route allows you to understand the meeting between Atlantic coast and Neiva riverfront, whose mouth has unusually small proportions. Along the Atlantic coastline the rolled white pebble beaches, which juxtaposes to outcrops of mottled schist, protect an extremely ancient sandbank separating the sea from the agricultural plain punctuated by Maritime and Stone pines forests and Common Reed areas. On the Neiva riverside, the marks of ancient human cultures persist through structures related to the linen (milling, sawing and treading), and there are several animals, from fishes such as Trout and Nase, to mammals such as European Otters, besides estuarine birds.
