In Gerês mountain, this trail offers a direct contact with the spirit and local community traditions, including the "vezeira". You can see several structures necessary for this communitarian organization such as the corrals (Espinheira, Carvalha da Égua and Lomba do Vidoeiro) and the respective huts, where the shepherds stayed overnight, when they have the responsibility to take all the village cattle to graze.
