• This short hike in the Gerês mountains runs above the valley of the Gerês river fault at altitudes between 3000 ft and 3600 fts. Its main themes are beekeeping and rural archeology. The region traversed by the trail consists of steep slopes and is covered with brush, water-courses, small forests of oaks and holly trees, and high-altitude meadows created by glacial, rain and run-off deposits.
