Salgueiral da Galiza
Share Image
The trail crosses two areas of topography and distinct vegetation: the 'montado' area with higher slopes; and the corresponding 'Salgueiral' (area with willows) lowland area near the lagoon. Of particular interest 'Salgueiral', of great quality and rarity in the context of wetlands in southern Portugal and is possible to see a suspended radicular network with unusual dimensions.
