Rota da Serra da Archeira
Share Image
Archeira hills route is a circular, unmarked pedestrian route in the heart of this protected area that allows you to look at the landscape and know its natural, cultural and heritage resources, including the Feiteira and Archeira forts, built in the 19th century when the French invasions occurred. Along the way there are several wind turbines so that it is possible for teachers to address the relationships between renewable energy sources and biodiversity. Part of this route is common to GR 30 long distance hiking trail of Linhas de Torres and PR9 TVD – Charming short distance hiking trail.
