Before planning your visit, you must ask the services of the Natural Reserve, because the route can be flooded. Bring binoculars, bird guide, suitable footwear and clothing of discreet colors, so you can appreciate the birds that find shelter here. It is a circular pedestrian path inside the Paul do Boquilobo Natural Reserve, between the old headquarters and Braço de Cortiça, which passes through the right bank of Almonda river a Tagus subsidiary, allowing you to discover the transition area between the wetland and the dry zone, as well as the montado (a cork oak area) biotope present. The use of the observatory, at Braço de Cortiça edge, is particularly aimed at birdwatchers and should be used with great care, as it is not in the best conditions. ICNF, I.P. doesn’t take responsibility for accidents during the visit.
