• Starting at Calvário (calvary), in Covide parish, this is a route with landscape and historical interest. Through a typically granitic landscape, it leads us to the Calcedónia boulder, well known for the crevice that cuts it and brings us to its top. Next to this rocky outcrop was an Iron Age fortified settlement (so the name 'City of Chalcedon'), later presumed to be occupied by the Romans. It has steeply downhill sections making it very difficult. Due to the type of vegetation present - shrubs - spring is the better season, avoiding the hottest summer days. In addition to the short distance hiking trails signs, it also has a specific signs for colour blind persons.
