It begins in Rio de Fornos village and it follows among natural and agricultural landscapes, around a section of the Ladrões stream, tributary of the Tuela river. It has approximately 11 km, but offers the possibility of realizing a shorter version (5.6 km), called the Meiral trail. This longer version passes through the Ladrões stream just to Travanca village, allowing you to see the agricultural mosaic that surrounds Rio de Fornos village. The landscape has large areas of Pyrenean oak and lameiros (seminatural meadows) surrounded by riparian vegetation, where the ash and the Common Alder stand out.
