The route starts at Mosteiro rivermouth, going north along a vicinal path, crossing the river on a pontoon and continuing to Calçada de Alpajares, going up to the castro of São Paulito and continuing along the vicinal path to Picão de Ana. From there goes down by an old sidewalk to the river and crosses it by Alminhas bridge. From there continues along the sidewalk to the place of Alminhas and follow south by a small municipal road to the starting point.
