• The Almofala - Sto. André das Arribas Trail offers a magnificent landscape of the river Águeda cliffs, providing good places to see birds of prey such as the Griffon Vulture. In addition to the Águeda steep valley landscape the path is rich in archaeological and historical interest sites, like the zoomorphic sculptures that can be seen shortly before the ancient chapel of Sto. André, from the castro and chapel of Sto. André. Also interesting due to its cultural and landscape value are the vineyards, the cereal fields, the cork oak “montados”, the Almofala traditional houses, a centuries-old holm oak and the traditional dovecotes.
