Small pedestrian route revealing the regional architectural heritage and also the natural values of the protected area. Solar (manor house) of Bertiandos is an ex libris of the north of Portugal. See the architectural differences on either side is of the tower of the palace, a result of the works the two sons of Inês Pinto, angry with each other, made in each part of the building. In the garden is possible to see a Roman milestone of the 2nd century, ordered to be placed there by the Lord of the house of Bertiandos. Of cultural interest are also the Esteiro bridge (16th or 17th century), Bertiandos parish church, the 18th century cross and the house of Sá, where the Barca Count was born, minister of king João VI. In front of the gate of the Sá house is the church of Senhor da Saúde with varied architectural elements, denouncing a 20th century building. The entrance to the protected area is by Louredo. After there is a considerable area allowing the contact with its natural values, namely those associated with Mimoso lagoon, Estorãos river and S. Pedro d'Arcos lagoon, biotopes responsible by the classification as this area as a wetland of international importance. In both lagoons there are places for birdwatching, mainly waterfowl. The route also passes through a natural pastures area, hedges and ends next to the Estorãos river, near an old mill ruins.
