Percurso da Calçada

The Calçada (causeway) pedestrian path is on the northern edge of Moimenta da Raia parish, offering a panoramic view on the border landscape that opens above Coroa mountain range, embedded in Spanish territory. It is a circular route of about 7 km that follows the course of the rivers Tuela and Anta. Before entering the slopes of this valley, the trail also crosses the vast plateau that extends north of Moimenta village. Besides the natural and scenic aspects, there are some historical-cultural values, such as the medieval bridge of Às Vinhas and Moimenta parish church. Do not miss Moimenta’s mills set, a little off the track.
