The Balsamão Convent is a famous old temple built on the hill of Caramouro or Balsamão next to Azibo river. In its museum area contains a collection with painting, ex-votos, sacred sculptures and liturgical vessels, and other objects realted to the Chatolic church, such as books and vestments.
