Ethnographic in essence, the Rural Museum of Salselas shows two aspects of any transmontana village: the human universe; and the Society.
 
The 1st is represented by objects that the peasant have created to assute a better integration into its surrounding universe in a given time and space and others show practices in order to ask for supernatural protection.
 
The 2nd aspect of this rural community is represented by another set of objects that reflect their habits in family and community relationships and the art that is born of the popular intuition.
