In this museum, housed in the former Bishop's Palace, of the 16th century, you can find a regional embroidery workshop-school, which manufactures quilts and linen embroidered silk panels, using traditional designs. Restoration of textiles is also done here, in a specialized workshop. A shop, an auditorium and a library, focused on archeology and art history, also exists here.

    - North, by A23 / IP2 / E806, take exit 23 (direction Castelo Branco norte / N112 / Pampilhosa). Continue along the N3 (650 m) and take the ramp to N112 / Oleiros / R233 / Castelo Branco norte / Espanha. At the 1st and 2nd roundabout take the exit for the N233. At the 3rd roundabout go straight to R. da Graça. *
     
    - south, by A23 / IP2 / E806, take exit 22 for N233 (direction Castelo Branco centro). In the next 4 roundabouts, continue always for N233. In the 5th roundabout, take the 3rd exit (Av. Dia de Portugal / N233). At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto R. da Graça. *
