• 'Francisco Tavares Proença Júnior' Museum

  • In this museum, housed in the former Bishop's Palace, of the 16th century, you can find a regional embroidery workshop-school, which manufactures quilts and linen embroidered silk panels, using traditional designs. Restoration of textiles is also done here, in a specialized workshop. A shop, an auditorium and a library, focused on archeology and art history, also exists here.
