Situated in the historic centre of Miranda do Douro, at the old Domus Municipalis, the Museum of Terra de Miranda evokes life on the Mirandese plateau. When visiting, you will come across the typical features of the social and cultural life of a region with a strong identity, evidenced by the Mirandese language (second official language of Portugal since 1998) and anchored in agriculture, animal husbandry and border trade.
