Structure of public visitation owned by the municipalility, Vinhais Biological Park has valences in the areas of landscape interpretation, in its natural and cultural components, providing a set of services from accommodation to environmental education (includes Natives Breeds Interpretation Center and a mycological center). Installed in Prada Forest Nursery (' Viveiro Florestal de Prada'), included in the Forest of Coroa's Sierra Perimeter and a few 3 km from the center of Vinhais, right in the Montesinho Natural Park, the surrounding vegetation of this area is dominated by pyrenean oak.
