The Interpretation Center of the Jewish Community is part of "Routes of Sepharad: Valuing the Portuguese Jewish Identity in the Intercultural Dialogue", allowing the rehabilitation and preservation of the Jewish heritage in Portugal, making it accessible to the public and to the generations to come, concomitantly spreading the discovery of a component of the historical, social and cultural reality of the country.

The exhibition center explores and perpetuates the Jewish presence in Torres Vedras, namely in the Middle Ages and early Modern Age, addressing several themes, including the Jewish quarter of Torres Vedras, public facilities, housing, loves and dislikes, including the conflicts with Christians, expulsion, forced conversion and Christianization of the space of the old Jewry, among others.
