In Castelo de Vide this garden-viewpoint is on the midway of the ring road, in a place called Penedo Monteiro.
From there you can enjoy a wonderful landscape with vegetation consists of various species of flora.
The garden has a hedge of boxwood limiting all slope, vegetation, staircase, fountain, sundial, stelae and a large central motif.
The fountain was built in 1976 in masonry and designed by master António Ventura Porfírio. Born in Castelo de Vide, he was a painter and curator of Queluz National Palace, near Sintra. At the rear of the fountain, is a picnic and leisure park with tables and benches in granite, shaded by leafy trees.
