Opened in 2006, this small museum is installed in Castanholas windmill (1948), which operated until 1995, and was then acquired by the City of Cadaval. It has four couples of millstones that milled the wheat and corn, with high productivity thanks to the tall tower with metal frame.
Nowadays, it houses an exhibition on Cadaval mills and its various types, the work of millers and Cereal cycle in its different phases, such as plowing, sowing, hay harvesting, threshing, cleaning the grain, their storage and finally grinding.
