-
The River Beach Tapada Grande, established in 2000, has a very pleasant set of leisure facilities, with sand, good water quality for bathing, picnic area, parking, an outdoor amphitheater and a bar. This river beach is located on the greater of the two dams that have supplied water to the mineral processing at S. Domingos mine, between the nineteenth century and twentieth centuries.

Tips
-
A very nice space to end a tour through the mine, but doing it in the summer may prove a little aggressive. Protect yourself from the sun with sunscreen, but still avoiding long exposures to sunlight. If you are travelling with children, here's a great place to give them some freedom and rest.
