• Pena Farm and Stables

  • In 1843, D. Fernando II acquired Tapada da Vigia, consisting of agricultural land and, with the help of Eschwege Baron, transformed part of the area in Quinta da Pena, a 'Ferme ornée' (an ornamental farm).

    Abegoaria supported agricultural activities, like housing and food warehouse for animals and agricultural tools.
