One of the most beautiful architectural and landscape creations of Romanticism (nineteenth century) in Portugal: the Park and Palace of Monserrate.
 
The Palace combines Gothic, Indian and Moorish influences, as well as exotic and plant motifs.
 
The gardens have species from around the world and were organized by geographical areas. The lawn opposite the Palace allows a deserved rest, after discovering one of the richest Portuguese botanical gardens.

'Imóvel de Interesse Público', part of the "Cultural and Natural Landscape of Sintra ", included in the World Heritage List.
