Opened in September 2009, this Museum aims to disseminate and present the history of Campomaiorense people, allowing the visitor to know the history of the area and its inhabitants, from prehistory to the present days. Installed in the building "Casa do Assento" at Largo do Barata, has 6 different routes: Roman; medieval; modern; landscape; religious; and gastronomic.
Ethnography also occupies an area where local arts and crafts will be presented. Here are different workshops designed to receive the artisans who will show how to produce some craft works.
