  • In some places of Trás-os-Montes there are specific rocks that demonstrate the complex geological evolution of the territory.

    The gneisses of Lagoa are metamorphic rocks that derive from rocks that were once part of an ancient continent and which were moved over the current one, by over 200 km, about 400 million years ago.
