  • Located in Peneda mountain ridge, we can see one of the most important remnants of glaciation that occurred in Portugal during the last million years. In the "U" cross-profile valley you can see polished rocks and deposits of glacial sediments. Among those are of special scientific value the erratic boulders that occur on the slopes of the right bank of the river Vez near "Brandas" of Aveleira and St. António.
