  • The Tedania pilarriosae is massive body sponge, with orange colouration and a velvety and finely porous texture. It can grow to be 50 cm long and 11 cm wide.

  • The Tedania pilarriosae lives in rocky surfaces in small dark cavities up to 15 meters deep. It is fairly common in the Natural Park of the North Coast, one of the places on the Atlantic north-east where it occurs.
