  • The European smooth snake is a small snake, with a non differentiated head and a prominent snout. Its back has a brown or green colouring with dark spots, its belly is dark with small white spots. It also presents a dark spot on its head in the shape of the letter U and a dark stripe on the continuation of its eyes. It can measure up to 6 cm long.
