  • The Iberian Emerald Lizard or Schreiber's green lizard is a reptile with a robust appearance and long tail. It exhibits a general green colouration, with black dots, or brown with big dark spots, and a yellow belly. In the mating season its throat exhibits a blue colouration. It can measure up to 12,5 cm long counting its head and body.

  • It is estimated that the Portuguese population of this species is in the tens of thousands of individuals.
