  • The Geoffroy's bat is a bat that has a wool like fur, it is brownish red on its back and lighter on its belly, it has large brown ears with a remarkable and characteristic chamfer. It's body can measure up to 4.7 cm long with a 4.2 cm tail and it can weigh 11g.

  • The Geoffroy's bat finds shelter in caves, mines, buildings, bridges and hunts in bushland and riparian areas.

  • Spring, Summer and Autumn. However is is difficult to see because it is a rare specie with nocturnal activity.

  • The Geoffroy's bat feeds preferably on spiders and diptera.
