The Common Raven is the biggest passerine bird of our country, and not a bird of a prey as one might think. This emblematic bird is completely black and occasionally has metallized green blueish purple reflections, and sometimes exhibits bristle plumage on its throat. It exhibits a long and very robust beak, long wings and wedge shaped tail. It can grow to be 67 cm long and have 130 cm span.
