Doces Candeias, Lda. began its activities in May 2008 and since the beginning of 2012 is located in Vila Nova de São Bento - Serpa. The project aim to create synergies that enhance local and regional development and local products. Thus, the fruits come from its own production or from Local / Regional producers, including Alentejo (about 80%) and the remaining 20% from other Portuguese regions.

Products with acorn and Indian-fig (also known as tuna cactus, prickly pear or barbary fig) arose from the use of these fruits, endogenous in our region or who are here for centuries, in order to preserve the traditions, knowledge and flavors. The jams are prepared only on the right season, highlighting and appreciating the authentic flavors of each fruit.
