Mercearia da Estrela (grocery) is a space dedicated to products of Estrela Mountain region, Cova da Beira and Gardunha Mountain. There, you can buy various cheeses of certified origin, regional wines and sausages, both winners of awards in major competitions specialty. Besides being a commercial space, the grocery has also a cultural program. So do not be surprised if one day there is someone playing adufe (a regional instrument), violin, reciting poetry or running a workshop.

In summer, and honoring the most enthusiasts, Mercearia da Estrela has a corner on the street facing Largo da Igreja Matriz where you can taste a good glass of wine and enjoy an exquisite Serra da Estrela cheese.
