In 1935, A. Montesinho Group began its activities with D. Roberto, a typical restaurant where the cuisine is based on quality products and tradition. Distinguished in 2015 with the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence, D. Roberto serves a comprehensive variety of dishes along with good drinks selected.

It has several distinct spaces, e.g. two rooms, a typical tavern, where you can snack and enjoy a variety of regional delicacies. The menu highlight is the fabulous products by Bísaro | Salsicharia Traditional.

In 1997/98, the restaurant was present in several exhibitions and obtained an Honorable Mention in the National Gastronomy Heritage in the category soups, snacks and entrees, given the quality of «migas das alheiras». It has been successively renovated and improved, presenting today a setting that makes it a reference in the region and one of the few local restaurants certified with the quality management standard NP EN ISO 9001.
